I have always like the idea of TOMS, since when you purchase a pair they give a pair of shoes to someone in need, but to be honest I never liked how they looked until now…
The Cordones are part of the new Fall 2009 collection and retail for $78. This style is fortunately more work appropriate than the original classic silhouette and as a result I feel they are more functional. I find them absolutely stunning and classy and therefore purchased myself a pair from 80’s purple (using the discount code “80snewbee” for 15% off).
These particular cream colored gems (named the “Aira”) can be worn with and without laces and are beautifully crafted from leather and coated canvas. Although these shoes are stylish enough to be worn to work, due to my current maternity leave status, I will be sporting them as I cruise around town with the baby.
