Happy National Lollypop day!
Honestly I don’t find many things sweeter than candy on a stick, except maybe my little girls.
As San Francisco Bay Area natives, my extended family has had a long time love affair with See’s Candies. A party just isn’t a PARTEEEY without See’s Candies. For example, last Holiday seasion I made the mistake of buying my Grandma Barbara a box of chocolates from another brand. She was very sweet, and didn’t say a word. But my family members didn’t gobble them up the same way they do boxes of See’s Candies.

Besides being on display at Justin Herman plaza on July 20th, The lollypop will also be on display for a second time on July 29, 2012 at AT&T Park in the Seals Plaza (Marine Gate) during a San Francisco Giants – LA Dodgers game.

I remember the colorful small lollipops, which had the loop handle, they were packaged in plastic and would be all together like on a long clothes line. Years and years later I found them again in a store, bought one and guess what! They still taste the same, like when I was a little girl and got them for being brave at the doctors

Oh… I miss See’s! Love seeing those white boxes filled with yummy goodness! I wish there was a store here in Nashville. I know I can shop online, but it really isn’t the same as going inside the store & smelling all of that delicious chocolate!
