This past weekend we celebrated Ivey’s first birthday. We may have gone a little overboard, bouncy house and all but I couldn’t help myself. This party was not only a celebration of her birth but the it marked the official end of my rookie year as a mom.

While my hubby and I got things ready for the party, our amazing nanny kept Ivey on schedule (morning nap included). Seriously, I love my nanny.

Did I mention we got a bouncy house?

Ivey proudly showed off her top from our friends at cafepress.com. Isn’t it adorable?

Ivey also practiced her walking.

However, I think the paparazzi might have been slightly distracting.

Happy Birthday Ivey! I love you more than life itself. I couldn’t have asked for a better baby or a better rookie year.
