Bits of my Weekend

Another weekend another birthday party.
This one was for a wonderful little two year old. The cupcakes were awesome but personally I think the champagne added a nice touch.

At social events, Ivey starts off timid and takes a few minutes to warm up.

But once she warms up… watch out! She might just try to steal your binky.

Once the baby finally went to bed (did I mention we are having a hard time getting her to sleep lately?) I went to the movies. If you have never been to the Castro theater, I highly recommend it.

When was the last time you were at theater that played an organ before the movie started?

The movie provided several good, easy laughs but the above scene with Charlotte and Miranda dishing about “mommy hood” over cosmos was my favorite.

I saw SATC2 this weekend too. I wasn’t a fan of the movie as a whole but I loved the scene with Charlotte and Miranda too. I think probably every Mom could see themselves joining that conversation!

Ivey’s hair is really growing! (That really stood out to me in this post, obviously.) That’s such a milestone, in my observation. Once a little one like that starts have hair-growth spurts, she starts growing and growing in a flash. By the way, we have a graduate in our house now. Stop what you’re doing and run to where Ivey is; scoop her up in your arms and twirl around, kissing and kissing her precious face!!!
