Bits of my Weekend

For the first time in weeks we had a pretty quiet weekend. No weddings or baby showers to attend which allowed Ivey and I plenty of time to hang out and cuddle.

We started off the weekend by doing a little reading. It warms my heart to watch Ivey sit and look through her board books. Doesn’t she look like she is enjoying herself?

Saturday was filled with routine items like swim class and errands. Nothing Fancy.

We did manage to stop by the park. As an added bonus, Ivey managed to sleep through the night – I honestly can’t remember the last time that happened.

On Sunday Grandpa Ed stopped by and Ivey showed him some of her favorite books.

  1. I wonder if I can get a job being an official kisser of babies some day when all of our children are grown and gone. Honestly, when I see a sweet baby face like Ivey’s, I feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Too bad I’m on the other side of the world. I would love, love, love to give her a smooch. (I hope that doesn’t freak you out, since I’m a total stranger. But I’m a mom. Of many. Does that help?) :-)

    Great post!

  2. just love the pictures! Miss Ivey looks so interested in reading her books. My heart aches that I don’t live close by and can see her when I want to. I miss you guys so much!!

Kisses and hugs to my bunny!!

  3. Ivey is such a beautiful, cuddly, cute baby. I just want to pinch her cheeks!!

Regarding your comment on my page, I probably could eat sushi every week myself. There was one week that I ate sushi 3 times. haha. I can’t stay away. My usual favorites are Philadelphia, Shrimp Tempura, Avocado, Mango Avocado, Sweet Potato, and Volcano Roll. I always try something new, but it depends on the place. At Sushi Palace, my favorite is Edison Roll and Mango Avocado. At my other favorite sushi restaurant UYees, mine is Volcano Roll, Mexican Roll, and Rainbow Roll :) What can I say, I’m a big sushi lover!

  4. I just can’t get over how cute Ivey is. These are great photos Kelly! Thanks so much for stopping by and linking your WW post up earlier this week. I’m slowly making my way to everyone’s blog. Sorry it’s taken me a few days. Hope you’re having a great weekend.
