Thanks for your comments! Ivey loves the beach but it has not been warm enough in Northern California for her to sit in a bathing suit and play in the sand. It was really great to get away for the weekend and enjoy the sunshine in San Diego.

This reminds me so much of days with my first one, Taylor. We lived in Manhattan Beach, Ca. I went from being a full-time manager at Saks in Beverly Hills to a full-time stay-at-home-mommy at the beach. The first 3 months I thought I was losing my mind, turns out it was just lack of sleep and rock hard boobs! Then we settled in very very nicely. I taught her to count with seashells in the sand. She is graduating from high school next month and we are still in love. Enjoy your days together and thank you so much for stopping by my 50 year old mommy blog.
