Mom Maps is a new iPhone application that helps you find kid friendly locations when you are on the go! It contains an extensive list of Parks, Playgrounds, Restaurants, Museums and Indoor Play Areas that are kid friendly and fun. Using GPS – You’ll see results which are close to you, plus a map to get you there.
Presently the Mom Maps iPhone application only serves the San Francisco Bay Area, but I am told by the application’s creators (both moms BTW) that they plan to launch new cities weekly going forward.
If you haven’t yet entered in a kid-friendly spot or a review I suggest you give it a try – You never know, your picture could be on the homepage next!
Still not convinced? Presently Mom Maps is running a contest – just enter in five or more kid-friendly locations (or review existing locations) and be entered in a drawing for a $100 Amazon gift certificate. This contest ends on 10/15/09 at 12pm PST so I suggest you act fast. Click here to enter and/or see additional details.
Full Discloser: Mom Maps was kind enough to provide me with a promo code to download their iPhone application. Once I tried it, I was so impressed with the application and the two moms that built it, I offered to help promote their application without any form of compensation.
